One morning in January, the dew point was far above the air temperature, which hovered around 33F/1C. St. Louis is surrounded by rivers, which added to the water vapor in the air. Result: a densely foggy morning. Fog is the most challenging to photograph -- it’s all gray! It’s also hauntingly beautiful, mysterious and romantic.
